  • For Ashton....love, Geneviève

    You were a gift
for which I asked but did not expect...

    I know your touch:
    you know my kiss.
    Our minds entwine in ways
    our bodies yet cannot.

    Ten days --
the universe was created in less....

I pine for the sight of you.
I strain for the sound of your voice.
    No more ardent was ever
    Shakespeare than I.
I hunger for your ideas and
    reflection of myself.

Like a storm, you swept my heart clean,
    and took up residence.

  • Now, this is good.

I like it....it's an eye opener for me today, because if you have been to my site today, you will notice the anger poem I wrote last night....

    But, I will survive.

  • Acutally, I was talking about being born gay. But I agree...I'm worth more.

    I love your blog-ring!!! I'm a vocalist myself :)

  • :) I really liked your response! And I like what your wrote above, very nice!

  • Thank you for your comments. I liked them very much

I recently graduated from webster university in Saint Louis Mo. It's a private college. I earned a degree in Computer Science.

  • It seems to flirt with cliche...but isn't.  I like it.

  • Ah, I see. I think anyone who writes something of importance to them on their weblog should get a digital copyright....

I'm happy to get out the house, AWAY from my dad, and I am just so happy that I don't have to live like this anymore. I don't think I'll get homesick, because I don't like this house anyways, and my dad almost lost it before from not paying the mortgage...I feel bad for my mom though, because that is 25 years of her life she could have been spending with someone that she deserved.

  • And regarding your other comment, I am willing to talk about whatever....I actually like talking about poetry.:wave:

And, I like to compose, let it sit, and then decide whether or not to revise, or edit, or change it in any way...

I'm very particular about my work.:giggle:

  • Thanks for the very well thought out response.  :)

  • :goodjob::giggle: you leave great replies to my posts, i really enjoy your input!

  • I saw your comment on Dan’s about a social activism page… I think that would be really great. In the mean time I wanted to share a few cites with you that may be helpful. you’ve probably heard of most of them.

http://www.sojo.net/ - This is a mainline Christian News service I have found to be very good
http://www.amnestyusa.org/ -Amnesty is not expressly Christian but support a lot of issues that should be important to all people.
http://www.one.org/ -This is the website to a campaign to end poverty
http://www.worldvision.org/ -World Vision in my opinion is one of te best mission organizations around.
http://www.habitat.org/ -Habitat for Humanity is another great ecumenical organization.

If you know of any social justice issues I'd love to write about them so let me know. I think I will try to write about the genocide in the Sudan next Sunday. (I've decided to limit my posting to Sunday, at least for now).

  • There is a book that I have not read but have heard a speech by the author and it sound amazing... its called "Left To Tell : Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust" by Immaculee Ilibagiza
    Amazon link

  • :fun: Thanx for the comment! If you keep coming out with responses like that, you'll be the next big thing...LoL:lol:

  • Due to being at work on my din-din break, I wasn't about to read all that.

But, I'm glad you don't want to infer the wrath of Kyjo.  :p

Nah, I'm nice.  As long as you don't foricibly try to get me to believe with unbacked shit.
No offesne either.  I think you are a theist with a brain.

  • hmmm....random question (oh yea, I found you through a friend's site. I hope you don't mind): how did you become interested in becoming a priest and what all goes into the training? I hope you don't mind me asking.

  • ^ 2 ABOVE HES RIGHT, DONT MESS WITH THE WRATH OF KYJO, HE HAS A TALENT FOR VERBALLING KICKING YOU IN THE GENITALS.  I DONT KNOW HOW HE DOES IT.

ANYWAY.  IM SORRY TO HERE THAT YOU PUSHED AWAY SOMEONE CLOSE.  ITS NEVER A NICE FEELING.  MY BACKGROUND IN CHRISTIANITY IS A BIT CONFUSING.  NO OFFENSE TO YOU, BUT I DONT REALLY FEEL MUCH LIKE DICUSSING MY PERSONAL LIFE ON SUCH A PUBLIC MEDIUM, NOR WOULD I WITH A PERSON I JUST MET.

ILL SAY THIS, DONT BE PUSHY.  BE OPEN MINDED, APPROACH EVERYTHING CALMLY AND NEVER PUT ANYONES BELIEFS DOWN.  DOING THIS WILL ENSURE THAT PEOPLE FOLLOW FOR THE RIGHT REASON.  I FIND TOO MANY PEOPLE FOLLOW CHRIT OUT OF FEAR, WHICH TO ME IS NO REASON TO FOLLOW.

THE FIRST GENTLEMAN IS FRANZ NIETSCHZE, A GERMAN PHILOSOPHER, HE QUESTIONED WHAT WAS THE NORM AT THE TIME HE LIVED.  HE WROTE ON SOCIETY AND RELIGON AND POLITICS AND HAS BEEN THE INPIRATION FOR MANY A GREAT MAN.  HE INSPIRED REFORM THROUGH OUT THE WORLD.

THE ONE BELOW HIM IS BUKOWSKI.  A POET, AUTHOR, AND MAD MAN FROM THE BEATNICK ERA.  BUKOWSKI WAS SORT OF A MORE MODERN FRANZ.

  • PS THANKS FOR STOPPING BY, PERHAPS ILL HEAR MORE FROM YOU?

  • I think, from most of the responses I recieved from people, yours was the one I appreciated the most. Simply because it seemed to be the most accepting out of all of them. Espeically when it came to your ideas on whether or not God accepts everyone. Thank you for that.

I can sort of understand why it is called The Process. That sounds so crazy and I admire you for your will to do it. Someone commented on my site earlier who was a youth leader in her church and she was following around my questions in order to better understand how to communicate with the youth in her own church. The reason I brought this up was that because both you and she are doing in order to better your church..it is very admirable. People, no matter what their religious background, should (in my opinion) try to better their community and it seems both you and she are doing that and doing it exceedingly well...just for doing something as simple as caring for other people.

  • RYC:  I almost couldn't tell if you were half joking or half serious.  But, you do subscribe to me.  Maybe you just do it to keep an eye on me.  I'd be like this if you didn't like me....

  • RYC:  Only if it's for T1.
